Future Growth Forum Pays Courtesy Call to Principal Secretary, Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs

Future Growth Forum Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Abdulaziz Billow Ali, paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Abraham Korir Sing’Oei, Principal Secretary at the State Department for Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Affairs, at his Harambee House offices in Nairobi.

During the meeting, Mr. Billow expressed his appreciation to the Ministry for its instrumental support in the successful hosting of the inaugural Future Growth Forum, which took place on 5–6 February 2025 at the JW Marriott Nairobi.

The two-day forum, held under the theme “Enhancing Economic Development and Innovation Between Africa and the Middle East,” was a collaborative initiative between the Future Growth Forum, the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development, Islamic Chamber Halal Services, and the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Discussions during the meeting centered on strengthening trade and economic ties, with a particular focus on enabling Kenyan businesses to access and benefit from the rapidly expanding global halal market—an industry currently valued at over USD 7 trillion, spanning sectors such as food, finance, and tourism.

Ambassador Sing’Oei commended the Future Growth Forum for its proactive role in advancing Kenya’s commercial diplomacy and promoting regional economic integration.

Also present during the visit were Ms. Ayan Mohamed, Director of Partnerships and Sponsorships, and the Director of Research and Programs at the Future Growth Forum.
